About

Lilydale Lynx BMX Club is a family-oriented BMX racing club situated in Lilydale, Victoria, Australia, about 40kms east of Melbourne.

As with most amateur sports clubs, we are an incorporated, not-for-profit organisation focused on providing a nuturing club atmosphere, and a top quality sports facility for our members.

Our home track is on council leased land at the corner of Anderson Street and Nelson Road in Lilydale.

The club has management responsibility for the track and its surroundings, and works closely with the Shire of Yarra Ranges Council to ensure that the track is maintained in safe working order for both the club members, and the general public.

Anyone can come and ride the track when it is not closed for club activities such as practice or racing.

Membership of the club is by way of a license from the sport’s governing body in Australia, BMX Australia

BMX racing is a fun sport for all ages from 3 to 50 and beyond.

The Club has been operating since 1980, and is one of the first BMX clubs in Victoria.

Wednesday nights are our club nights, when training and club races are run. At some other times of the week, the track is closed for coaching, so we highly recommend checking our Facebook page for the latest information about events and track closures.

We encourage anyone who is keen to try this fantastic sport to come down to a gates night on a Wednesday evening, or fill in the contact form, to find out more.

We rely on volunteers to run our club. This involves everything from canteen organisation to track maintenance, committee membership, event organisation, track operation and more. We are a not-for-profit organisation so we rely on membership fees, donations, sponsorships, sausage sizzles at Bunnings, raffles (the list goes on) to pay for everything.
