Female Participation Program 2019

With the grateful assistance of the Yarra Ranges Council’s Grants for Community program we are pleased to offer a BMX racing training program for new female riders of all ages.  Our goal is to encourage new female riders to take up and participate in the sport of BMX racing by developing the skills and confidence to ride at the club and Open level.  The program offers:

  • Six group training sessions with an accredited BMX racing coach,
  • A reimbursement for your first 4 month license.

To be eligible for the training you must be female, have not previously held a BMX racing license, and take out a minimum 4 month Sprocket Rocket or Open license, or a miniwheeler license, appropriate to your age and choose the Lilydale BMX Club as your club.

To be eligible for the license reimbursement you must have completed at least 5 of the 6 group training sessions.  The license reimbursement will only cover the cost of a 4 month license at Sprocket Rocket or Open level, or the full cost of a miniwheeler annual license.
